Student of the Week: Lisa

Lisa has been investigating mishima and sgraffito techniques on her wheel thrown pottery. These techniques are a form of carving and then inlaying slip or underglazes into the main body of the piece. It is hard to do it well and get clear, crisp lines and vivid color that fills in exactly where the detail is intended to be! Check out her mug in process utitlizing this technique! Awesome work Lisa! - Noelle
