Student of the week: Elena!

Elena has been a student at Slowfire for as long as she can remember! A second grader at Lincoln Elementary School, Elena enjoys all mediums—ceramics, painting, and drawing—but recently, she has become interested in graphic art and video production. 

Elena has been a great helper at Slowfire and constantly offers to be my assistant when helping the K-1st graders. She has the talent to also challenge her skills in art pieces and experiment with different techniques such as shading and value.
