Miniature Worlds – Whether your dreams involve mushroom cottages or magical trees, come bring them to life and make your own fairy garden or fantasy realm. Mon-Friday 12:30pm-4:00pm June 24-28 Location: This camp will be held in partnership with The Learning Specialist on site at The Children's School Open to any student participating in The Learning Specialist Summer Intensive. What can you expect from Slowfire Summer Enrichment Afternoons? Students will grow their confidence and skills through a selection of projects exposing them to new artistic mediums and techniques. Each day, students will explore mediums such as painting, drawing, collaging, crafting, and ceramics! We work with all levels and abilities. With our small teacher-to-student ratio, we have the ability to scale up and down projects as needed. Daily Routine: Students will eat lunch outside at 12:30, weather permitting, and will go on a walk, visit a local park, or play games outside. Slowfire Staff will then guide students through various projects, activities and lessons in art. The afternoons may also include crafts, games, LEGOs/Polly Pockets, and fun adventures. Weather permitting, students may also take trips outside and to the library. Every camper will receive a Slowfire t-shirt! Students will wear t-shirts during outings for safety. Non-refundable deposit of $100 required to book camp. Balance will be invoiced May 1. If balance is unpaid by May 10th, the student will be removed from camp. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the camp will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
