Raku Throwing Workshop

Service Description

In this four hour- long workshop, you will throw raku clay with Slowfire Staff in preparation for the Raku Day Workshop August 24th. We will also trim the same day or you can trim during the program hours if you are enrolled in our clay program. The raku firing will be held at Carl Mankert's studio approx 1 hour north of Oak Park. You must commit to both a throwing session and the firing session. Please sign up for the 8.24 Raku Day separately. The throwing fee includes clay, bisque firing and teaching staff.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
