Week-Long Ceramics Intensive Location: 907 S Lombard Avenue Max: 8 students max: 4 students min Teachers: Belen and Tyler Take your ceramics practice to the next level with our experienced Slowfire teachers. This immersive camp is designed for students who already have foundational skills and are ready to strengthen their wheel-throwing and handbuilding techniques. Throughout the week, you will refine form, practice consistency, and explore more complex approaches to shaping and altering clay. The final two days will focus on advanced handbuilding, sculptural development, surface design, and glazing. Whether you are creating refined functional work or pushing into sculptural exploration, you will have the space and guidance to expand your artistic voice. What’s Included: All materials—clay, glazes, and everything you need for kiln and glaze firings—are included in the course fee. We take care of everything from clay recycling to kiln loading, sanding, glaze making, and more. This is reflected in the course cost, ensuring a top-notch experience! Cancellation Policy: 18 days or fewer before the camp start date: No refunds will be issued. More than 18 days before the camp start date: A $100 administrative deposit (or $100 of the full payment) is non-refundable, but any additional payments will be refunded. Late Fee Policy: A $20 late fee will be charged for pick-ups more than 15 minutes late.
