Photography in the Field (6th grade +)

Service Description

Photography professor and professional photographer, Sydney, will teach the students how to use a digital SLR. Cameras WILL BE provided for the week if needed. Sydney will then take your teen on outings around Chicago to photograph and explore different types of photography! Travel will be provided by our very own magical van, Vincent Van-Go. Jess will also teach your teen about the CTA system and a few of the days will be navigated via the Blue Line and the Red Lines. Parents must sign a van and public transportation waiver prior to camp. Every camper will receive a Slowfire t-shirt! Students will wear t-shirts during outings for safety. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the camp will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
