Peace, Love, Rainbows Art Camp Ages 4-8

Service Description

Join us for a fun filled week of Art, Crafts, Games and an off-site Field Trip! Your camper will enjoy a variety of activities like Ceramics, Painting, Drawing, Print-Making and fun crafts based on our weekly themes. During this week campers will do all things fun and crafty! Projects like slime, squishies, perler beads, shrinky dinks, and gorgeous pottery work. Campers will have outdoor play and breaks at local parks. Friday is always a special day with face painting, fun on-site cotton candy, and a mini gallery show of student work at 3:30! Our 10 passenger van, Vincent Van-Go, will take campers on an off site field trip one day of the week. Campers will go to one of the following destinations; Art Institute of Chicago, Lincoln Park Zoo, Children's Museum, Garfield Park or Oak Park Conservatory. *Each camper will be given a camp t-shirt, which will be worn on field trip day. Peace, Love, Rainbows July 29th- August 2nd 8:30am-4:00pm (Drop off between 8:30-9:00am) Slowfire Studio @ 907 S. Lombard Ave. 14 campers max. 5-7 camper: 1 teacher ratio Campers should bring a snack, and water bottle with them. (If your camper is staying for lunch, they should bring an allergen free lunch and afternoon snack as well). We are a tech free zone and ask that campers do not bring handheld gaming devices and any cell phones should be tucked away in a backpack. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the camp will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
