Service Description

Learn pastry & baking techniques and methods! Students will get instruction in making things like creme brûlée, souffles, biscuits, rolls, scones and galette. Students will get to enjoy their own creations and bring home treats to share on occasion. Day 1: Mousse Day 2: S’mores from scratch Day 3: Nougat + Praline Day 4: Baklava Day 5: Danishes Day 6: Biscotti Day 7: Brioche bread Taught by Natalie Natalie is currently a baker at Broken Tart, where she exercises her passion in baking and cookie and cake decorating. She holds an Associates degree in Baking and Pastry from Kendall College and runs her own small baking business called The Sweet’Inn on her spare time. Thursdays 7:00pm-9:00pm Ages 18+ 03/07, 03/14, 03/21, 04/04, 04/11, 04/18, 04/25 (No Class 03/28) Register per day - a la cart Slowfire Grove 629 S Grove With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
