Take your ceramic knowledge to a new level with this 7-week intermediate/advanced ceramic course. Learn new surface decorating techniques, and new advanced methods of altering wheel thrown pieces to accomplish impressive functional hand created wares — all while exploring your own artistic voice. $70/workshop 7 Weeks to choose from, select as many as you'd like Please note: the majority of the class time is DEMO and time for questions and review. You might have time to get started but you will need to work on your projects outside of the class time. 04/21: Underglaze transfers and screen printing with Geli plates 04/28: Stamp making (multiple kinds) for repeats and roller pin designs (please bring in a wooden rolling pin), water etching 05/05: Multiple ways to make a butter dish 05/12: Stacking forms and glazing tips and ideas 05/19: Throwing and then modifying into different shapes 05/26: Garden Totems and Garden Rocks 06/02: More Garden Totems and Stakes Tuesdays, 7-9:15pm 907 S. Lombard Ave. Taught by Noelle With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded.
