Service Description

Discover the beauty and wonder of the outdoors as you create art inspired by the world around you. Each week, we'll investigate a different nature-themed adventure—from colorful birds and fascinating insects to sparkling rocks, ancient fossils, changing weather, forests, oceans, and amazing ecosystems. Using watercolor, clay, drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media, students will transform their discoveries into beautiful works of art. Create clay animal sculptures, paint vibrant botanical illustrations, design nature journals, build miniature habitats, and experiment with exciting artistic techniques inspired by the colors, textures, and patterns found in nature. Taught by Priscilla Fall Semester | Mondays 3:00–4:30 PM August 31 – December 14 No class: 9/7, 9/21, 10/12 13 sessions Online deposit: $200, remainder $190 invoiced October 1 and due by October 15 With a low student-to-teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, class sizes are intentionally designed to help students advance their skills while creating a safe and supportive learning environment. While we teach strong technique and craftsmanship, we also empower students to discover and develop their authentic artistic voice. Our teaching style is inclusive, welcoming, and community-centered. We are proud to be an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 10 min late Deposit is non-refundable after August 1
