MURAL PAINTING (Anime theme) Age 12-17

Service Description

Blending artistry and collaboration in a unique mural painting experience! Led by Joey, an accomplished muralist with experience in indoor and outdoor wall art across Chicago. Students will unleash their creativity and turn a blank section of interior wall, at Slowfire's Lombard Ave Studio, into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! They’ll dive into essential techniques, from sketching to composition and color mixing, as they bring their favorite anime or manga characters to life. This class will also teach them how to collaborate with others to create a cohesive work of art. All participating artists will be provided with a print of the overall work for them to take home. Age 12-17 Taught by Joey Fridays, 7:00-8:30pm 06/07, 06/14, 06/21, 06/28, 07/12 Off on July 5th With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
