Service Description

In this small, hands-on class, young artists will explore a variety of exciting art materials and techniques! Students will experiment with painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media as they create imaginative, one-of-a-kind projects. Each week encourages creativity, curiosity, and confidence while introducing new artistic processes in a fun and supportive environment. Students should bring an apron or wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7-9 Min 3 students, max 4 students. Saturdays 11am-noon 09/12, 09/19, 09/26, 10/03, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 629 S. Grove Taught by Salma All materials (clay & glazes) and associated costs ( clay recycling, kiln firings, and glaze firings) included in the cost of the class. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
