Big imagination. In Mini Makers Lab, students will dive into the delightful world of miniature making. Artists will design and build 3D creations using cardboard, clay, plaster, paint, and mixed media. Throughout the semester, students will explore structure, scale, texture, and color while learning how to transform everyday ideas into imaginative, small-scale worlds. Project Ideas: Mini bedrooms in shoeboxes, Tiny cafés or bakeries, Mini food sculpting (polymer or air-dry clay), Pocket-sized museums, Mini fairy houses With a low student-to-teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, class sizes are intentionally designed to help students advance their skills while creating a safe and supportive learning environment. While we teach strong technique and craftsmanship, we also empower students to discover and develop their authentic artistic voice. Our teaching style is inclusive, welcoming, and community-centered.
