FOR LINCOLN ELEMENTARY (RIVER FOREST) STUDENTS ONLY REGISTRATION OPENS March 15th @5pm Dive into a colorful What’s Blooming? mixed media art class that celebrates all the beauty of spring! Students will explore the flowers, plants, insects, and garden life that begin to appear as the weather warms up. Through painting, collage, and clay, young artists will create bright spring-inspired artworks such as blooming flowers, buzzing bees, ladybugs, butterflies, and tiny garden sculptures. Students will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, including: 🎨 Painting & Color Mixing ✂️ Collage & Layering 🌼 Clay Handbuilding (pinch and simple slab techniques) 🍃 Texture, Pattern & Nature-Inspired Design Mondays with Teachers Emily and Metzli Grades K-4 6 Weeks Mondays: 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18 No classes 4/6, 5/25 3:15pm-5:00pm $238 = $38/class + $10 Fundraiser With a small student to teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late.
