INTERMEDIATE WHEEL AGE 12-17 (Thursdays)

Service Description

*Class for Intermediate Student. Students will continue to learn and build on their wheel throwing skills. Students should bring an apron and rags to class. Taught by Alice Ages 12-17 Min 3 students, max 5 students. $380 for all 7 Classes 7 weeks long 7:00-9:00pm Thursdays 03/07, 03/14, 03/21, 04/04, 04/11, 04/18, 04/25 (No Class 03/28) Alice’s style of teaching is highly skilled and technical. Alice loves working with our teen population. Alice is the ceramics technician at Dominican University and is highly knowledgeable about the craft and science of ceramics and glazes. She is adept at helping our left handed students succeed. All materials (clay & glazes) and associated costs ( clay recycling, kiln firings, and glaze firings) included in the cost of the class. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
