COMIC BOOK CREATOR AGE 9-11 (Saturday)

Service Description

This class will teach young artists how to create their very own comic book from start to finish. We’ll be developing unique characters, coming up with story ideas, designing a logo, creating a comic book cover, and then planning out panels to tell your story over several pages. Towards the end of the session, we’ll have their comics scanned and printed out, and we’ll assemble them as a class. All materials covered in the cost of the class Materials used: pencil, colored pencil, professional quality design pens and markers. Age 9-11 Taught by Joey Saturdays 9:00-10:30am 03/09, 03/16, 04/06, 04/13, 04/20, 04/27, 05/04, 05/18, 05/25 (No Class 03/23, 03/30, or 05/11) With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
