Service Description

Step into a world where imagination leads the way. In Dreamscapes, students will explore painting, drawing, and printmaking while creating surreal, imaginative landscapes inspired by dreams, fantasy, and the unexpected. From floating islands and glowing forests to underwater cities and star-filled skies, artists will design layered worlds that blend reality with imagination. Throughout the session, students will experiment with: Watercolor and oil pastel resist techniques Acrylic painting with bold, expressive color Ink drawing and fine-line details Introductory printmaking methods such as monoprinting and textured stamping Artists will learn foundational skills in composition, depth, layering, and color theory while building confidence in their creative decision-making. Projects will encourage both technical growth and imaginative storytelling, resulting in vibrant, multi-layered works of art. With small class sizes and a supportive studio environment, students receive individualized guidance while being encouraged to develop their own artistic voice. No previous experience is needed — just a love of color, creativity, and dreaming big. Grades K-5 Taught by Salma Thursdays 3-4:30 September 3 -December 17 15 classes CLOSED 11/26 for Thanksgiving Online deposit: $200, remainder $250.00 invoiced October 1 and due by October 15 For an additional fee of $14, your child can stay until 5:30. You can request this on the intake form. 5 kids minimum, 8 kids max With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 10min late Deposit will not be refunded after August 1.

No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 18 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
