Real or Cake? 3D @ TCS (Thursday)

Service Description

In this 3D building class, students will craft deceptively delicious art projects inspired by all things sweet. Using plaster, cardboard, wire, polymer clay, and Model Magic, artists will create faux cakes, mini foods, and a whimsical bakery diorama. To top it all off, they’ll design a bobble-head cupcake sculpture — complete with color, texture, and personality. Step into the world of illusion and creativity! No previous experience is needed! Beginners will build foundational skills, while those with experience can refine and expand their artistic style with Ms. Alice's guidance. Grades 4-8 Taught by Alice Thursdays 3:15-4:45pm For an additional fee of $9, your child can stay until 5:30 with flex pick up until 5:40. You can request this on the intake form. Fall 1 - exact dates TBD 9 sessions This class is only for students enrolled in The Children's School. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
