What a fantastic week we had at Art and Music Camp at the Pink Art House! Campers brought their imaginations to life with clay guitars, handmade jewelry, sculptural picture frames, watercolors, sticker making, painted canvases, and adorable cat drawings. Students had 90 minute daily music lessons led by Shane and Chano from Rock Hand Music, where students got to try a variety of instruments and learn fun songs. Our amazing teaching team at the Art House—Alice, Metzli, Shane, and Chano—guided students through a joyful, hands-on week of creativity.

Over at our full-day camp at The Children’s School, students created Squishmallow-inspired clay wind chimes and magnets, painted vibrant watercolors, and sewed their own felt stuffies. Mornings started with energizing drum lessons with Rock Hand Music, setting the rhythm for an inspiring day. Campers had fun at Scoville Park and enjoyed free time in the block and lego room. This camp was led by our talented crew: Salma, Maisie, Priscilla, Fernanda, Emily, and Jake.
At Give It a Spin Wheel Camp, students learned the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel with guidance from Tyler and Fernanda. They made small plates, cups, and bowls, and explored handbuilding and surface decoration using underglazes and glazes.
Over in the kitchen at Pastry Camp, students made quick and yeast cinnamon rolls, turtle melon pan, eclairs, raspberry-lemon hand pies, and strawberry filled layer cakes. Students designed beautiful tiered cakes and learned how to pipe icing like pros under the expert instruction of Kristi.
We’ll be in touch soon to let families know when all of the clay projects are ready for pickup. Thank you for sharing your creative campers with us—what a fun and memorable week it’s been!
