This is the first blog post of what I hope will be many. It seems only fitting to start this as we expand and build our business in the Oak Park Arts District. We are now in our second week at our second location at 907 S Lombard. The decision to expand was a slow decision as the business evolved over the last two years.
Our original location at 634 Carpenter Avenue is my home studio that I built out 3 years ago. It is located on the garden level of our home and is super cozy and welcoming. It has its own entrance down the garden path and once inside, there is 800 square feet of space, divided into a larger room and small room.
We are still using this space! It is primarily now for intermediate-advanced wheel students ages 10+. Alice and I are the teachers operating out of 634 Carpenter at the moment. In the fall, Brie will most likely return to this location, as well, to offer Mindful Mornings and Adult daytime wheel offerings.
There is quite a bit more backstory about Carpenter that I will go into over the course of this blog. Here are two images of the new location at Lombard!
