What an incredible week we had during Neon Vibes at the Pink House! Campers dove into bold, creative projects including slab-built bowls personalized with their own lettering, DIY stained glass, zentangles, Keith Haring–inspired drawings, and roller skate paintings with metallic watercolors. Group C even had a chance to try throwing on the wheel! In music, students spent 90 lively minutes each day with Shane and Chano from Rock Hand Music, exploring different instruments and learning super fun songs from the 1980s. Huge thanks to our amazing teaching team—Alice, Metzli, Shane, and Chano—for leading such a vibrant, hands-on week of creativity and joy!

This week at our Under the Sea–themed art camp, students dove headfirst into a wave of ocean-inspired creativity! Campers sculpted clay sea creatures with open mouths, then brought them to life with colorful underglaze. They also created fish bowl terrariums, underwater paintings with octopus sculptures, sea slime, suncatchers, and shell mosaics. Mornings kicked off with high-energy drum lessons from Rock Hand Music, setting the beat for a fun-filled day. Our oldest campers started the week with rhythm and drumming on Monday, then moved into ukulele lessons Tuesday through Friday! Afternoons included outdoor play at Scoville Park and chill time in the block and LEGO room. Huge thanks to our amazing team—Salma, Maisie, Priscilla, Fernanda, Emily, Shane, and Jake—for leading such a joyful, hands-on week of art and music!
At Give It a Spin Wheel Camp, students learned the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel with guidance from Tyler, Fernanda, Jeny and Noelle. They made small plates, cups, and bowls, and explored handbuilding and surface decoration using underglazes and glazes.
