Miika Forsyth graduated with honors from Wheaton College, and holds a B.A. in Ceramics and a B.S. in Environmental Science. Her passion for her local environment drives her artistic practice which focuses deeply on her wonder and contemplation of the natural world. Additionally, her mother runs the Little Bits Workshop in River Forest where she first began teaching art to children in 2017. For Miika, all of this has sparked a deep desire to make art and nature more accessible to children and adults alike.
