Immerse yourself in the world of ceramics with our 7-week wheel throwing course, designed for beginners. If you've always wanted to learn ceramics on the wheel, this class will guide you step-by-step through foundational techniques, allowing you to grow your skills and unleash your creativity. Our classes include everything you need, from personalized instruction to high-quality clay, tools, underglazes, glazes, and firings. No surprise additional costs here! Minimum Class Size - 3 Maximum Class Size - 5 $418 7 Weeks Mondays 7:00-9:15pm 9/08, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/06, 10/13, 10/20 Taught by Steven - Steven fell in love with pottery in seventh grade after hand building his first form over a very large balloon. Steven studied photography, was a commercial photographer for 35years and has been making pottery for 17years. He lives with his wife and two cats in house filled with hand thrown ceramic bowls, cups, vases, and face jugs. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded.
