Intro to Ceramics - Age 6-9 - Sat AM

Service Description

In this very small group class, students will learn the fundamentals of working with clay to create both functional and decorative ceramic pieces. They will learn several important hand building techniques to create with coils, slabs and more! Students should bring an apron and rags to class. Ages 6-9 Min 3 students, max 4 students. Saturdays 9:00am-10:00am 10/25, 11/01, 11/08, 11/15, 11/22, 12/06, 12/13 CLOSED 11/29 629 S. Grove All materials (clay & glazes) and associated costs ( clay recycling, kiln firings, and glaze firings) included in the cost of the class. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
