With the weather warming up our thoughts turn to the outdoors. In our ceramics classes we've started creating beautiful pieces that take us outside into nature. We create things like wind chimes, fairy houses and gnomes full of unique personalities, and even names... of course we name our gnomes!
Clay can be a natural outlet for de-stressing and centering yourself. Our adult students come in and do more than learn from us. They find friendship, laughter and discover their own creativity with this very tactile medium of clay. We often hear "I'm not very creative, I just do this for fun"... but really, creativity is such a uniquely human trait we all share in one way or another, and when we explore without expectation it can be fun!
