Noelle Allen is a full-time, tenured professor of sculpture and ceramics at Dominican University, with over 15 years of experience teaching at the college level. Noelle holds a BA from Smith College and an MFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago.


Kate Pszotka is an assistant professor at College of DuPage, North Central, and Dominican University with over 10 years of experience. Kate holds a BA from North Central, Naperville and an MFA from Mills College, CA.



Kelsey Wilcoxon holds both a BA in painting and drawing, as well as an MLIS concentrating in archival studies from Dominican University. She is passionate about studio art as well as art history, and has been teaching at Slowfire for three years.


Alice Arreola Teacher Alice Arreola graduated with honors from Dominican University with degrees in art history and sculpture. Alice has been teaching children art classes through the Oak Park Park District since 2018 and has been working at Slowfire since summer 2020.



Jenna Leigh Richards is an interdisciplinary, conceptual artist. Richards holds an MFA from Indiana University(IU) and a BFA from University of Louisville. Richards spent two years teaching as Associate Instructor at IU and taught an Adjunct course at University of North Texas. 


Lauren Hansford holds a BA in Painting and Drawing from Dominican University. Lauren was the Teaching Assistant to Professor Cote de Luna in the Painting Department and Studio Assistant to Noelle Allen in Ceramics and Sculpture Department and in her private art studio.
