Service Description

Instructors Alice or Tyler will be on hand to support your goals and work on new skills. The membership is held at our new, larger studio at Slowfire Grove! Students at this level will be progressing to Cone 6 (med fire). Cone 6 clay vitrifies differently and uses more advanced glazes. Slowfire Grove has a full kitchen, garden, laundry on-site, dining room and a living room. Students will have the opportunity to have a snack break, do some homework if needed, socialize and work on their ceramic goals. This is more than a ceramics membership! You must have taken at least one wheel session at Slowfire prior to enrollment, or the equivalent. * This course is NOT for a novice. September 9th-December 21st We have 3 packages to offer as little or as much access to the studio as you need! You can select the package you want at check out in the last question labeled Program Options. $255: FULL ACCESS $210: 2 Days/Week $180: 1 Day/Week Full Access allows you to come to any and/or all of these days. Two Days/Week Access allows you to come twice a week. No sign ups needed. Just come on the two preferred days. Two Days/Week Access: $210/month Arrival/Departure times are flexible within these available windows for Teen Membership. Mondays 3:30-6:00pm Wednesdays 3:30-6:00pm Thursdays 3:30-6:00 Saturdays 1:00-3:00pm We will have wheels open, hand-building and surface design options We will have glazing as an option the last week of the session so please plan accordingly. These prices are for 1 month. By enrolling in this program, your initial commitment is 2 months, you will pay for the first month now, and your second month will be auto-charged to your card at the end of the first month. You will then be auto-enrolled on a monthly basis unless you cancel. We require 1 month notice to leave the program. Upon enrollment, there is a one time, non-refundable fee of $60 for the student's personal-use damp box and 25lbs of clay. A damp box is a large plastic container tightly sealed that we customize with a layer of plaster of paris. As additional clay is needed, students will be charged $35/25lbs. No refunds once the course has begun and cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. You may not roll over any days into another month/session.
