Spring Break Art Camp

Service Description

This spring theme art camp will explore multiple mediums and provide students with the opportunity to make new friends, and see art in new places! Students will grow their skills through new experiences with multiple mediums, and exposure to art in nature, through our off site trip. Each day will explore a different medium, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and clay! If your child has participated in Slowfire camp before, the projects this week will all be new and exciting. Vincent Van-Go, our very own magic school bus, will take us outside to learn the practice of creating art from nature. Our last day of camp we will have a party, with games, cotton candy and face painting. Campers should bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle with them. (Allergen free lunches are required). Please keep your eye on weather, and send your child with the appropriate clothing for outdoor trips each day. We are a tech free zone and ask that campers do not bring handheld gaming devices and any cell phones should be tucked away in a backpack. Taught by Evelyn & Salma March 25- March 29 Ages 5-11 8am-3pm 16 kids max With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
