Service Description
A continuation of the original Perceptive Portraits class! This class focuses on building portraiture technique! Students will work on a master copy, reproducing work from the old master drawers, in order to develop their skills. Through the use of multiple drawing materials, students will also create self portraits in the final weeks of classes. No previous drawing skill is needed, but it is beneficial if the student has an interest in creating portraits! All materials (paper, pencils, color pencils, pastels and more) are included in the cost of the class. Mondays 6-7:15 5/16, 5/23, 6/6, 6/13 Ages 10-14 Minimum 2 students, Maximum 3 Taught by Joss With a small ratio of teacher to student comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the 3 student class size will be perfect to advance skillsets, while also being mindful of a safe environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space.
