Service Description

Learn baking techniques and methods! Students will get instruction in making cake fillings, buttercreams and even their own sprinkles! Students will get to enjoy their own creations and bring home treats to share on occasion. Taught by Kristi! Kristi has been baking custom designed cakes and cookies out of her home for the Oak Park community for over 15 years. She loves to bring science and art together for creating new desserts in the kitchen. Kristi specializes in buttercream and fondant techniques, taking in ideas and sketches and turning them into unique works of art. Mondays 4:30-6:30 Ages 11 + October 2- December 11 Eleven class meetings Slowfire Grove 629 S Grove Important note: This class meets 11 times. The full payment is $473.00. Upon enrollment, you will pay for half the class and then will be charged for the remainder November 6th. Upon checkout, you will be asked to enter your credit card information for the second payment. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
