Service Description

Whether you are new to ceramics or looking to advance your technique, I can help you accomplish your goals in the pottery studio. I am a full time sculpture/ceramics professor with over 16 years experience teaching at the college level. This ongoing class with 4-5 students will give you the focused attention you need to be successful and feel confident on the wheel and with your handbuilding skills. I have 6 wheels, an extruder, slab roller, kiln and an extensive array of hand tools. Come learn in a small group setting in a safe, private studio. I have been fully vaccinated ( + booster) but I also have dedicated air cleaners and a separate bathroom. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Clay and glazes included in the cost! The last class will be glazing! Students may have a choice of clay depending on level and interest (porcelain or earthenware). PRIVATE LESSON POLICY: To cancel or reschedule private lessons, please contact us 24 hours in advance. No shows or failure to cancel within 24 hrs will be charged full fee. GROUP LESSON POLICY: If you need to miss a group class, please let us know as soon as possible. Due to the small nature of our space, no guaranteed make ups for group classes.
