Mother's Day- Ceramic Plaque Ages 6-9

Service Description

Mother’s Day Ceramic Workshop! Drop off your child so they can create a heartfelt gift for you, Grandma, or a special maternal figure in their life! Slowfire Staff will guide them in making a beautiful wall mounted plaque from clay and decorating it with underglazes. After the workshop, we’ll fire the pieces in our kiln, and they’ll be ready for pick-up the following week—just in time for Mother’s Day! 📅 Sunday, April 20th ⏰ 2-4 PM 📍 629 S Grove Avenue (pink art house) A fun and creative way for kids to make a one-of-a-kind gift! With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded.
