Service Description

Discover Kitchen Academy, where young chefs embark on a fun culinary journey, learning valuable life skills along the way! Guided by Chef Kristi at the beautiful Slowfire Kitchen, kids will explore delicious recipes and master important abilities like meal planning, kitchen prep, safe stove and oven use, handling tools, reading recipes, and cooking dishes from start to finish. In this interactive class, children will dive into preparing dishes like homemade Lasagna and Garlic Bread, Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup, Kalamata Lemon Chicken Pasta, Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese, and Breakfast for Dinner! Mondays 4:30-6:30 Ages 11 + 01/15, 01/22, 01/29, 02/05, 02/12, 02/19, 02/26 7 class meetings Slowfire Grove 629 S Grove With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
