INTRO TO CERAMICS @ BEYE (Monday)

Service Description

Join Slowfire teacher Ms. Priscilla for a fun and engaging art class where students will learn the fundamentals of ceramics. Students will explore a variety of hand-building techniques including: Slab Contruction Coil Construction Pressed Plates Texture & Decoration No previous experience is needed! Beginners will build foundational skills, while those with experience can refine and expand their artistic style with Ms. Priscilla's guidance. Grades K-5 Taught by Priscilla Mondays 3:00-4:30pm Snack Time followed by 1 hour Art Lesson September 8th - October 20th 09/08, 09/15, 09/22, 09/29, 10/06, 10/20 CLOSED 10/13 With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
