INTRO TO CERAMICS - AGE 6-8 (Tuesdays)

Service Description

Introduction to Ceramics Students will learn the foundational skills of ceramics. This class covers skills such as wedging and handbuilding with small tools. It will delve deeper into use of large tools such as the extruder and the slab roller. Students should bring an apron and rags to class. Ages 6-8 Taught by Salma Tuesdays 4:15pm-5:15pm $280 for all 7 Classes 01/17, 01/24, 01/31, 02/07, 02/14, 02/21, 02/28 All materials (clay & glazes) and associated costs ( clay recycling, kiln firings, and glaze firings) included in the cost of the class. With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
