Service Description
This class is designed for students who have some prior experience on the wheel and are ready to build confidence and expand their skills. We’ll focus on refining basic forms—like cylinders, bowls, and plates—while introducing more complex techniques such as lidded vessels, altered forms, and handles. Students will also explore surface decoration, trimming for function and aesthetics, and glazing strategies to enhance their work. Whether you’ve taken a beginner class or are returning to clay after a break, this is a supportive space to deepen your understanding of wheel throwing, work more independently, and begin developing your personal style. Includes group instruction, demos, and plenty of one-on-one guidance. Clay, tools, and firing fees are included. 907 S Lombard Avenue Taught by Tyler Mondays 7:00-9:00pm 06/02, 06/09, 06/16, 06/23, 07/07, 07/14 CLOSED 06/30 With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment.
