Beginner Wheel Throwing (Adults) Curious about pottery? This class is the perfect place to start. Designed for absolute beginners, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in a supportive, hands-on environment. We’ll cover the entire process—from centering clay and shaping basic forms like bowls and cups, to trimming, decorating, and glazing your finished pieces. You’ll gain confidence working on the wheel while exploring your creativity and building practical skills week by week. No experience is necessary—just come ready to learn and get your hands dirty! All materials, tools, and firing fees are included. Taught by Steven Mondays 7:00-9:00pm 06/02, 06/09, 06/16, 06/23, 07/07, 07/14 CLOSED 06/30 With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
