Service Description

The summer intensive study focuses on individualized attention with clear goals and personalized lesson plans for each student. If you are a beginning student, we will teach technique from the ground up! The curriculum is based on wheel throwing cylinders, bowls and plates as well as ancillary techniques to improve object making skills, such as etching, hand building, and custom glazing. With a small ratio of teacher to student comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the 4-student class size will be perfect to advance skillsets, while also being mindful of a safe environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. 4 student capacity July 5-July 16 2 weeks Monday-Friday 9:00-11:00 am $450 for the 20 hour intensive with a $75 materials fee. $200 deposit, payment in full due two weeks before the first class. Cancellations less than 2 weeks before start date will not receive the deposit back.
