Service Description

This class is ideal for anyone looking to learn or continue developing their skills on the potter’s wheel. Whether you’re brand new to ceramics or have some experience and want to build confidence, this course offers a supportive environment to grow at your own pace. Beginners will learn the foundational steps of wheel throwing—centering clay, pulling walls, shaping forms, and glazing—while more experienced students can refine their technique, explore new forms, and work toward more consistent results. We’ll cover a variety of forms such as bowls, cups, and small plates, and introduce surface decoration techniques to bring your pieces to life. Each student receives plenty of one-on-one instruction tailored to their skill level. All materials and firing fees are included. No experience necessary—just a willingness to learn and experiment! Taught by Veronica 6 Weeks Thursdays 9:00-11:00AM 06/05, 06/12, 06/19, 06/26, 07/10, 07/17 CLOSED 07/03 With a low Student/Teacher ratio, comprised of dedicated teachers and professors, the student class size is perfect to advance skillsets, while also creating a safe learning environment. While we teach excellent technique and form, we also aim to empower students in their authentic voice/artistry. Our teaching styles are inclusive and welcoming. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space. No refunds once the course has begun and no make-ups available for group classes. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the class will not be refunded. *A $20 late fee will be charged if a student is picked up more than 15min late
